Dr. Carla Antola-Lardizabal is a family medicine doctor in Chandler Heights, Arizona. She received her medical degree from Favaloro University Faculty of Medical Science maintaining her scholarship during the entire career by being amongst the top 5 students. She then took the USMLE exams to revalidate her medical degree in the USA and was accepted by Michigan State University Family Medicine Residency in 2007.
Although a Family Doctor by training, she also worked in Emergency Medicine. Because of her leadership skills she became Medical director of (south) Coos County EMS services and then Medical Director of Southern Coos Hospital Emergency Department.
Dr Antola worked at Kaiser Permanente in Southern California for several years before returning to Family Medicine.
Very well liked by her patients, colleagues and coworkers, she continued to grow in her career. Dr Antola understands the uttermost importance of preventative medicine through lifestyle; not just healthy diet and exercise but also a healthy mind. She is now specializing in the field of Lifestyle Medicine at Harvard Medical School, and is a member of Obesity Medical Association and Institute of Coaching Mclean, Affiliate of Harvard Medical School.
