Dr. Connie A. Desarden is a board-certified internal medicine practitioner originally from New York City. She has over 9 years of clinical experience. She has participated in various medical missions to Malawi and Lebanon providing care to Syrian refugees. She completed residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia in 2015, and earned her medical degree from New York Medical College in 2012. She graduated Cum Laude from The City College of New York as part of the Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education. Dr. Desarden provides services in preventive medicine, and in diagnosing and treating a variety of conditions including; hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterol, obesity, infectious diseases, gastrointestinal disorders, depression and anxiety. She has a special interest in treating diabetes, and helping patients with weight management. Listening to patients is the most important skill she uses for providing high-quality care to her patients. Her passion is empowering patients through patient education, and helping patients take control of their health especially in the Latin community. She is bilingual in Spanish and English. She enjoys singing, painting, dancing, and all things fashion.
