Dr. Jordan Kase arrived at Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital, a member of the Westchester Medical Center Health Network (WMCHealth) in 2004. Since completing his fellowship, he has been a faculty physician in the Department of Newborn Medicine at the Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital Regional Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. He is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at New York Medical College, an academic affiliate of WMCHealth.
Dr. Kase is the Medical Director of the Regional Neonatal Follow-up Program, affiliated with Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital. Over the past 14 years, he has grown a team of clinicians who evaluate and make treatment recommendations for former NICU infants who are at risk for neurodevelopmental impairments. He follows, and publishes about former NICU infants until 3 years of age to assess for medical and neurodevelopmental outcomes. He has lectured locally and nationally about outcomes of former preterm infants. He has been published in multiple peer reviewed journals on these topics. In addition, he has been recognized as one of New York’s and Westchester’s Best Doctors since 2014.
