Stuart Mark Diamond, MD, FACS is a graduate of Albany Medical College in New York and completed his surgical/surgical sub-specialty training at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. Dr. Diamond received many honors as a surgical resident, including winning the Maimonides Medical Center research award twice, the prestigious New York Academy of Medicine Ferdinand C. Valentine Essay contest award, and the Pfizer Scholars award. He received further specialized training as a fellow at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City.

 

Dr. Diamond has been in practice for over 24 years in the Delaware valley. He was the former Director of Laparoscopy and Robotics Surgery at Cooper Hospital/University Medical Center in Camden, New Jersey and a former Assistant Professor of Urology at Thomas Jefferson University Medical Center. He is a member of many surgical societies and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and was elected as an honored member of the Cambridge Who’s/Who. Philadelphia Magazine awarded Dr. Diamond their prestigious "Top Doc" award for his outstanding work in the Delaware Valley. Dr. Diamond has also been featured in medicine and technology reports in South Jersey Magazine, The Burlington County Times, Sunbeam, New Jersey Network, ABC and NBC News. Dr. Diamond, a pioneer in minimally invasive surgery and one of the most experienced physicians in our region, has been asked to teach his techniques at a number of medical schools across the United States. In addition, numerous national and international conferences have invited him to speak about his expertise in minimal invasive surgery. Dr. Diamond provides comprehensive and compassionate care to his patients and their families.
