Dr. Daniel attended medical school at St. John's Medical College and Hospital in Bangalore, India. He obtained his MPH degree at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, majoring in epidemiology and biostatistics. He completed his internal medicine residency, pulmonary disease and sleep medicine fellowship, and critical care medicine fellowship at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. He is ABIM board-certified in pulmonary disease, critical care medicine, and sleep medicine. He is a member of the American Medical Association, the Society of Critical Care Medicine, the American College of Chest Physicians, and the American Thoracic Society. He is a US Navy Commander at the Expeditionary Medical Facility (EMF) Camp Pendleton Marine Base in San Diego.
