Dr. Strauss graduated from the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle, WA. He completed his Ph.D. in Bioengineering at the University of Washington School of Engineering. Dr. Strauss finished his internal medicine residency at the Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, WA, and later completed a pulmonary, critical care fellowship at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU). He brings several honors and awards to The Oregon Clinic Pulmonary, Critical Care & Sleep Medicine, including the Neuropharmacology Autism Fellow from the National Alliance for Autism Research/Bristol-Myers Squibb. He has also received the NIMH Young Investigator Award from the New Center for Drug Evaluation Unit meeting and the Society of Nuclear Medicine Physicians Fellowship.
Other Interests:
When Dr. Strauss is not at work, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, outdoor activities, running, backpacking, skiing, and traveling.
